Gettysburg Connections at Antietam II - Tour at Antietam Battlefield, Sunday, August 9, 2026
Gettysburg Connections at Antietam II - Tour at Antietam Battlefield, Sunday, August 9, 2026
Join us for our second Gettysburg Connections at Antietam tour of 2026! In partnership with our friends at the Antietam and Beyond Podcast.
Since our first Gettysburg Antietam Connections tour in February was such a success, we will return to Antietam with Battlefield Guide Jim Smith for more Gettysburg-related stories from America’s single bloodiest day.
Unlike our first tour, this one will be a car caravan and include the south end of the battlefield. Look for familiar names including Meade, Longstreet, Stuart, Benning, Pender, Archer, A.P. Hill, Garnett, Kemper, and more.
Reserve now as space will again be limited!
When: Sunday, August 9, 2026. Start: 10:00 am. Expected End: 1:00 pm (Three hours).
Where: Start Antietam Visitor Center
(As this will be a caravan tour, we want to limit to no more than 12-13 vehicles. Carpooling from the Visitor Center will be required.)
Walking: Some but likely not as much as the first tour.
Registration: $25 registration to cover Guide fee and NPS admission fees. As the Guide & NPS fees are based on number of attendees and vehicles, we might request a few dollars more (Guide gratuity, etc.) if needed. (This was not needed on our February tour.)
